Ask anyone that has attended this event in the past and they'll tell you the food is absolutely outstanding! With the help of local restaurants, community service organizations, and our dedicated group of volunteers, we go through great lengths to ensure our guests receive a quality "home-cooked" meal. Fresh steamed clams, grilled chicken, Italian sausage, hot dogs and hamburgers, homemade potato, macaroni and pasta salads, and fresh corn and tomatos from our local farmers combine to make this the best cookout of the summer!
Most of our food is generously donated by area businesses in support of Niagara Hospice. Please be sure to review the complete list of donors and support them throughout the year. We would especially like to thank Montondo's Seafood for allowing us to use their refrigerated truck, the Youngstown Lion's Club for all their help cooking and preparing the food, the Kiwanis Club of Lewiston for both their manpower and financial support, Certo Brothers Distributers, Tops of Lewiston, Wegmans, Mineo & Sapio, Maloni's Meats, Lakeside IGA, Tim Horton's-Military Road location, Reids Hot Dog Stand, Coulter Farms, Goodman's Farm Market, Bandanas, and Tracy Gillick Quarantillo for her superb catering services. We couldn't do it without their help and support!
